Global Policies
As an international company, we do businesses in over 40 countries. As part of our sustainability and operational excellence strategies we have developed several global policies. Here are some of them:
Human Rights and Supplier Policy
We have created a global Human Rights and Supplier Policy to ensure that human rights are upheld in all of our business dealings. This policy is guided by the articles of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the eight core labor standards of the International Labor Organization.
Environmental Policy
This policy describes Wolters Kluwer’s commitment to minimize the impact of its activities on the environment and to comply with applicable laws in each of the countries where Wolters Kluwer business units operate.
Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)
The GRI is a global set of standards around sustainability measuring and reporting. We are committed to using these standards to provide accuracy and transparency in our sustainability reporting.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Sustainability
Wolters Kluwer's 3 primary KPIs represent the areas that drive our sustainability policy: Organic Growth, % of Revenue From Digital Products, and the % of Employees Who Receive a Performance Appraisal.
Company Values
We believe our company values are at the heart of our success. They guide our activities and support our strategic actions. They are the common bond across all Wolters Kluwer businesses and employees.
Corporate Governance
Corporate Governance encompasses the body of laws and regulations to which we are bound as a stock listed, public company. This section will give you more information about what these laws and regulations are, and the policies we have to remain in compliance with these standards.
