Wolters Kluwer Included in the Dow Jones Sustainability and Dow Jones STOXX Sustainability Indexes

For the third year in a row, Wolters Kluwer has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability and the European Dow Jones STOXX Sustainability indexes. Inclusion in the indexes means that Wolters Kluwer is ranked amongst the top 10% of global businesses, and recognizes Wolters Kluwer’s efforts in embedding sustainable entrepreneurship throughout our businesses.
At Wolters Kluwer sustainable entrepreneurship is about taking our role as a responsible information provider very seriously by developing and delivering our products in a way that minimizes environmental and social impact, investing in our employees and customers, and giving back to the communities we operate in. In addition to that, Wolters Kluwer’s products and services contribute to creating sustainable solutions in areas such as healthcare, health and safety regulation, business compliance, and environmental regulation.
The results of the Dow Jones Sustainability and the European Dow Jones STOXX Sustainability indexes are watched closely by market participants around the world. Many asset managers use the indexes to manage a variety of sustainability-driven portfolios.
The Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes follow a best-in-class approach and include sustainability leaders from each industry. The annual review is based on a thorough analysis of corporate economic, environmental and social performance, assessing issues such as corporate governance, risk management, branding, climate change mitigation, supply chain standards and labor practices.
