KluwerArbitration Relaunched with Significant User Enhancements, Superior New Search Engine
Amsterdam (December 1, 2009) – Kluwer Law International is pleased to announce the relaunch of KluwerArbitration with significant user enhancements, including the addition of a new and improved search engine. KluwerArbitration is the leading online service for international arbitration research. No other service offers the breadth or depth of content available on KluwerArbitration. Kluwer Law International is part of Wolters Kluwer Law & Business, a leading provider of research products and software solutions in key legal and compliance specialty areas (www.kluwerlaw.com).
“We have made KluwerArbitration more user-friendly to ensure that professionals gain maximum advantage from the unrivalled content available on the web site,” said Beverley Marshall, Kluwer Law International Senior Product Manager.
Key changes include adding a superior new search engine, which provides users with a vastly improved search experience, plus the addition of a Table of Contents for books and journals to make it easier for users to browse for articles or particular page references.
Other enhancements include:
- A new home page which offers an overview of the content options on the site, including: books, journals, legislation, court decisions, awards and treaties, including the unsurpassed digital collection of Bilateral Investment Treaties (BITs). Plus the inclusion of news from the Institute for Transnational Arbitration and recent blog posts from KluwerArbitrationBlog.
- Improved layout of content by country, where all content is organized by content type on separate tabs. This means that it is much easier to review and access the wide range of content available for each country, including: organizations, BITs, court decisions, legislation, awards and rules.
- An all-new New York Convention Decisions Tool developed together with the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA). This new tool makes it easier for users to conduct research on the New York Convention and related court decisions. By simply selecting an article of the convention and one of Professor Albert Jan van den Berg’s topics, users can access all associated court decisions in the database, as well as a wide range of corresponding commentary.
