CT Summation Announces Key Enhancements to Enterprise Product

New User Interface and Functionality Enhancements Make eDiscovery More Efficient and Accurate

San Francisco, CA (December 14, 2009) - CT Summation, the premier provider of litigation workflow and eDiscovery solutions, today announced the forthcoming Q1 2010 release of the latest version of CT Summation Enterprise. The new features to be delivered in Enterprise 2.7 will provide users with enhanced document management and review capabilities. These new functionalities will enable legal professionals to more effectively and accurately manage litigation workflow from case assessment through production.

The capabilities of the latest version of CT Summation’s SQL-based application will create more manageable and cost-effective processes for legal professionals burdened with increasingly cumbersome volume of data.  With a friendlier user interface, new imaging tools and near-native document viewing capabilities, litigators can now more easily analyze information critical to their cases.

“We have been users and believers in the CT Summation products for many, many years.  But, since the release of the new CT Summation Enterprise, we have been wow-ed,” said Tom Russo, president, doeLegal.  “What does this version look like? Single databases with the millions of documents and tens of millions of pages; 140 users pounding away with lightening-fast search and functionality—and still the same elegant user interfaces that our users grew up on. We are very excited to see what new things the CT Summation team will bring to the table in 2010.”

Here are some of the features users can expect to see with Enterprise 2.7:

  • Near-Duplicate Analysis and Coding Tools:  Eliminates data redundancy, exposing the unique data, saving time and cost in document review while providing consistent coding and fast accessibility to pertinent documents.
  • Near-Native Document Viewer:  The new eDocs viewer will allow users to review documents without the need for the native document application on their desktop.
  • TIFF on the FLY:  An updated Petrification Toolkit will support all the latest files formats for the leading ESI file types and seamless integration of document imaging into workflow.
  • User Interface: Users will benefit from a redesigned Enterprise user interface with intuitive menus and toolbars to simplify the entire user experience.

“With the size and complexity of electronic case materials growing at an unprecedented rate, it’s crucial for attorneys to be able to streamline the eDiscovery workflow from case assessment through production,” said Tom Rump, general manager, CT Summation.  “This pending release will capitalize on the successful November release of our industry-leading iBlaze product line which strengthens our continued commitment of providing legal professionals with the tools they need to win cases.”
