CT Summation Releases Enterprise 2.5.3

Latest Product Release Reinforces Company"s Accelerated Technology Innovation; Customer-Driven Advancements Provide Improved User Experience

SAN FRANCISCO, October 30, 2007 - CT Summation, a Wolters Kluwer business and the leader in litigation support and electronic data discovery solutions, today announces the release of CT Summation Enterprise version 2.5.3. This version of the company"s integrated litigation support software offers significantly upgraded features and functionality and underscores the company"s ongoing commitment to innovation - and its customers.

This release brings the product into alignment with the latest technologies, including the Microsoft Office 2007 suite of products: Outlook 2007, Windows Vista Business Edition, Word 2007 (.docx format), Excel 2007(.xlsx format), PowerPoint 2007 (.pptx format) and Internet Explorer 7.0. In addition, Enterprise 2.5.3 delivers an enhanced user experience with an intuitive user interface and superior search capabilities.

"Our customers continue to share with us their specific litigation support challenges," said Tom Rump, vice president of Litigation Solutions, Wolters Kluwer Corporate Legal Services and general manager of CT Summation. "The latest version of CT Summation Enterprise allows them to handle larger amounts of data by processing, reviewing, organizing, and producing for their cases in an efficient, accurate and timely manner. As is evident by our steady stream of product releases, CT Summation is committed to providing our customers with the tools they needâEUR”and demand."

Enterprise 2.5.3 has the capability to handle immense amounts of data and documents using the MS SQL back-end and the Enterprise Data Manager (EDM). This enables significantly faster loading of large amounts of data, in many cases exceeding the previous upload speed by up to four times.

"We had close to a ½-million native files from co-counsel that we needed to quickly import into Summation Enterprise for attorney review to locate pertinent documents," said Colette Perkins, litigation technology manager, Williams Mullen. "I was able to quickly create a load file and import the native files using CT Summation's new data manager tool, EDM, which took approximately 45 minutes to load all of the documents...lightening speed and we met our deadline."

Additionally, Enterprise 2.5.3 is fully optimized with third-party tools that enhance the product"s overall functionality, reinforces the Case Explorer tree structure, improves the Grid View and enhances end-user searching capabilities.
