Robert (Bob) Becker is President & Chief Executive Officer of Wolters Kluwer Health & Pharma Solutions since November 2008. Mr. Becker brings extensive and successful leadership experience in the information industry to his leadership role of the leading provider of information and business intelligence for students, professionals, and institutions in medicine, nursing, allied health, pharmacy, and the pharmaceutical industry.

As of 2010, Bob Becker will be leading Wolters Kluwer Health & Pharma Solutions globally.

Before assuming his present position, Mr. Becker was President and CEO of Wolters Kluwer Law & Business since July 2003, where he delivered a track record of strong performance at this unit of Wolters Kluwer’s Tax, Accounting & Legal division. Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer, Mr. Becker was CEO of Jupiter-MediaMetrix since 2001. His rich leadership experience in the global media and information services industry includes 13 years at The Thomson Corporation. Mr. Becker also ran a technology-based Internet start-up firm and spent nine years with PriceWaterhouse.

Mr. Becker holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science from Marquette University.
